Application Scenarios

Tree-Lined Streets

Suspend meteor tubes from tree branches to create a magical rainfall-of-light effect. Municipalities use these extensively for holiday street lighting programs across entire city blocks.

Building Facades

Mount vertically along building edges, columns, and architectural features. The cascading light effect highlights structural lines and transforms commercial buildings into landmarks.

Seasonal Festivals

Christmas, Diwali, Lunar New Year — meteor lights are the most versatile seasonal decoration. Switch color modes to match any celebration theme via the RF remote.

Pergolas & Canopies

Restaurants and hotels hang meteor tubes from pergola beams and canopy frames to create intimate, animated ceiling effects over outdoor dining and lounge areas.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are meteor lights different from firework lights?
Meteor lights are linear tubes that create a vertical falling/raining light effect, designed to be hung from above or mounted vertically. Firework lights are ground-mounted poles with a radial burst pattern. Many large installations use both — meteor tubes in trees and overhead, firework lights at ground level.
Can meteor tubes be connected end-to-end?
Yes. Up to 10 tubes can be daisy-chained per power line. Each tube includes male/female connectors for seamless linking. For DMX installations, each tube is individually addressable.
What lengths work best for street trees?
For street trees (4-8m height), we recommend 50cm and 80cm tubes at 3-5 tubes per tree. Mix lengths for a natural, organic look. For smaller ornamental trees (2-4m), 30cm tubes work best.
Are the tubes flexible or rigid?
The tubes are rigid PC (polycarbonate) with a slight natural flex. They maintain a straight vertical hang. For curved installations, we recommend our motif lights which can be custom-shaped.
How do you power meteor lights in trees without visible cables?
We recommend running a single trunk cable up the back side of the tree, then branching out along major limbs with our weatherproof distribution connectors. Cable colors can be matched to bark (dark brown/grey) for concealment.
Can meteor lights survive high winds when hanging from trees?
The tubes are lightweight (150-400g depending on length) and have minimal wind resistance. The stainless steel hanging hardware is rated for 80 km/h winds. For hurricane-prone regions, we offer quick-release mounting for temporary removal.
