Commercial Firework Light Installation: A Professional Guide

Phase 1: Site Preparation

Mark fixture positions (3-5m spacing), check for underground utilities, verify power availability. Each AC unit draws 60-120W.

Phase 2: Mounting

Three methods: ground stakes (soft ground), base plates (hard surfaces), weighted bases (temporary/indoor).

Phase 3: Wiring and DMX Setup

Daisy-chain with XLR cables. One DMX universe (512 channels) controls up to 64 units. Terminate last unit with 120-ohm resistor.

Phase 4: Testing

Test each unit individually, test group sync, verify fail-safe behavior, check waterproof connections.

Phase 5: Seasonal Maintenance

Monthly visual inspection, quarterly connector check, annual full system test. Keep 5% spare units.
